Smocked Sheaf Beanie

This is my very first pattern made for public. Originally I used the yarn to make a cowl in the same smocking pattern, but in the end I ended up making a hat.
The hat is only just covering the ears, but could easily be made longer, or even wider, to obtain sort of a slouchy-looking beret. The smocking pattern is divisible by 16.

The hat is made in delicious Cascade 220 Heathers color #4010 Straw on a US size 8/5mm needle. Check out the Ravelry page and click here to download the free pattern.

Hope you enjoy!
Best wishes.
